Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Patio Heater

Not all stainless steel is the same. Many companies advertise they have “stainless steel” patio heaters but most do not tell you what grade of stainless they are constructed of. Most of the competitor’s heaters utilize type 304 stainless steel for this option. However, through our continuous research and experience, we have found that 304 stainless steel is just not sufficient for installations that are along the coast and subject to salt water spray or in certain locations, the corrosive effects of air pollution, or even the effects of chlorine in swimming pool environments.

We are proud to announce that Sunray’s High Output Series, is the only patio heater manufactured which offers this material option for those extreme use applications. The 316 stainless material provides superior corrosion resistance and is regarded as "the standard marine grade stainless steel". This optional material is used for the main construction of the patio heater which includes the reflector and burner component compartment. If your application is regarded as extreme, the additional charge is minimum to ensure that your patio heater will withstand the forces of your local environment.
